Every clean and seal service follows the same thorough process, no shortcuts, no skipped steps. The preparation is just as important as the sealant itself.
Before we begin, we assess the condition of the entire paver surface, identifying areas with staining, joint sand loss, organic growth, or damage that needs to be addressed prior to sealing.
We power wash the entire area to remove dirt, debris, mold, algae, and any existing surface buildup. A clean surface is essential. Sealant applied over a dirty surface seals the contamination in.
Where joint sand has been lost to weathering or washout, we re-sand the affected joints before sealing. Sealing over empty joints leaves the system vulnerable.
Once the surface is clean, dry, and joints are correct, we apply our professional-grade water-based sealant evenly. Application method and coat thickness are calibrated to the paver type.

But if a spill is left on the surface without being cleaned, it will eventually absorb through the sealant over time. Sealing is a protective barrier, not a permanent shield, and prompt cleanup is always the best practice.
Our proposal includes professional power washing to remove dirt, organic growth, and normal surface buildup, joint re-sanding where needed, and the application of a water-based sealant. In some cases, our technicians may identify heavy staining, rust stains, oil stains, paint, efflorescence, or other conditions that require specialized cleaning products or additional treatment. If this occurs, we will notify you and provide the additional cost for approval before performing any work. No additional services will be completed without your authorization.
We recommend waiting at least 6 hours before walking on the sealed surface. For heavier use (moving furniture, placing planters, or driving on a driveway), we recommend waiting 24 to 48 hours to allow the sealant to fully cure. Cure times can vary slightly depending on temperature and humidity on the day of application, so we always confirm the specific recommendation before leaving the site.
Yes. We provide clean and seal services for paver surfaces regardless of who installed them or who performed previous sealing. However, when we are not the ones who applied the last sealant, we always begin with an on-site assessment to evaluate the condition of the existing sealer. Depending on the type of sealant previously used, it may be necessary to apply a sealant stripper before we can proceed; applying a new coat over an incompatible existing sealer can cause adhesion failure, surface cloudiness, or peeling. We identify this during the assessment and let you know exactly what’s needed before any work begins.
